Audio Reverse - Play Audio Backwards

Reverse Any Audio File Online — Load an audio file and flip it so it plays backwards. Use it to create backward sound effects, uncover reverse-masked audio, or prepare creative mixes. The full track is reversed from end to start and the result keeps the original length. Download as WAV (lossless) or MP3.
Supported input: MP3, WAV, FLAC, OGG, Opus, M4A, AAC, WMA, AIFF and other common audio formats. Files are never uploaded to a server.
First use loads an ~30MB audio processing engine into the current browser. It is cached and reused afterwards, so please be patient.

The whole audio is reversed so the end of the track becomes the beginning. The output duration stays identical to the input.
Note: reversing a long file can take a moment because every sample has to be re-ordered. The processing runs locally in your browser.
Reversing vs phase inversion — two different things. This page reverses playback: the last sample plays first and the whole waveform runs backwards (the classic hidden-message and reverse-reverb effect). Phase inversion is unrelated — it flips the waveform's polarity (positive swaps with negative), sounds identical in mono, and never plays anything backwards. The reversed result is re-encoded: WAV output keeps the decoded samples intact, MP3 output adds one lossy generation.
