Video to MP3/WAV

Video to MP3 with ID3 Tags / WAV - Extract Audio from Video — Pull the audio track out of any video and save it as MP3, or as WAV with full control over channels, sample rate, and bit depth. An ID3 tag editor is built in: fill in title, artist, album, album artist, genre, year, track, comment and they are written into the MP3 while encoding; metadata found in the source file, if any, is carried over automatically. Everything is processed locally in your browser, with files never uploaded to a server.
Supported input: Videos with an audio track (MP3, WAV, OGG, FLAC, M4A audio inside common containers). Everything is converted locally in your browser; files are never uploaded to a server.
First use loads an ~30MB video processing engine into the current browser. It is cached and reused afterwards, so please be patient.

Any common video format; under 500MB recommended
Bitrate:higher = better quality, larger file
MP3 Extraction: Re-encodes the audio track with the LAME MP3 encoder at the selected bitrate.
WAV Extraction: Writes a PCM WAV file with the chosen channels, sample rate, and bit depth (lossless, larger files).
MP3 ID3 Tags
Fill in any fields below to embed an ID3 tag in the MP3 (fields left empty are omitted). Metadata found in the source file, if any, is carried over and filled in here after you select a file.
Extracting vs transcoding audio: if the source audio stream is already MP3, it can be copied out losslessly (a remux); anything else — AAC, Vorbis, Opus, PCM — must be decoded and re-encoded to MP3, spending a little quality for compatibility. ID3 tags are written into the output MP3. Details on the audio side: Audio to MP3 / ID3 Tags.
