RM is a multimedia container format
created by RealNetworks. RealMedia file extension is *.rm.
It is typically used in conjunction with RealVideo and
RealAudio and is popular for streaming content on the
Internet. ASF is Advanced Streaming Format. It
is an extensible file format developed primarily for storing
synchronized digital video, audio, subtitle streams, or
transmitting data on the internet. ASF is also a multimedia
container of Windows Media Video or Windows Media Audio.
To convert rm to asf file, pease install the latest
RealPlayer if Windows has not installed it. Download
RealMedia Splitter, decompress it with WinRAR, use the command line "regsvr32 RealMediaSplitter.ax" to register it.

ASF Converter which can
convert rm to asf file. Select a rm file, Change the
output format to ASF in the Options dialog box, configure some
parameters such as the video encoding bitrate, audio
encoding bitrate, resolution, frame rate etc if necessary.


TS is MPEG transport stream. TS format
is a container format that encapsulates packetized
elementary streams (PES) or another data. Blu-ray makes use
of the format.
PS is MPEG Program stream, a container format for
multiplexing digital audio, video or others, and defined in
MPEG-1/2. PS merges PES to one stream, used for DVD or
HD-DVD.

please install
ts/ps
splitter/decoder. Check MPEG-PS / TS in Haali Media Splitter field of the Settings dialog box. |
