2. Try several times, you can get a sync point. Add the point to the sync list.

3. It is better to add at least 2 points at the beginning and end of out of sync position of the movie.

4. Then calculate the audio and video's start time and end time with the sync points.

5. Preview the output video. If there is no problem, then start the conversion.

It supports the video formats like avi, wmv, mpg, asf, dat, vcd, mpeg. If extra decoders are installed, it can support more formats such as divx, xvid, dv, mkv, ogm, svcd, dsm, etc. The output video can be WMV or AVI. If you install more multiplexers/muxers, the program can output more video formats. So the program is a video converter also.

It is better to add 2 points at the near beginning and end of out of sync position of the movie. If you want to add the third sync point to the list, it is better in the middle of out of sync position of the movie.

4. Click the Calculate start button to set Video start time or Audio start time automatically. Click the Calculate end button to set Video end time or Audio end time automatically.

5. You may enter Video start time or Audio start time manually. For example, If you think the movie is sync at the beginning, you enter 0 as Video start time or Audio start time, do not use the calculated value from the sync points. If the movie is out of sync from the beginning, it is better to use the calculated value from the sync points.

Normally it is better for Video end time and Audio end time to use the calculated value from the sync points.

Note:

1. WMV format is recommended as the default output format. You do not need to install any extra encoder. WMV encoder made by Microsoft is stable.

2. When we test many codecs, we notice FFDshow codec can decode a lot of audio and video formats such as divx, xvid, mp3, wmv, wma. But Audio skip forward  and Audio skip backward may not work well when the codec is running (the icon will be at the right bottom of desktop). It is necessary to disable the codec temporarily in  FFDShow Video Decoder Configuration or  FFDShow Audio Decoder Configuration if you have another codec which can decode the audio and video stream.
