CSV / TSV Split & Merge Tool

Split a large delimited file into several smaller parts (by rows per file or by number of parts), then merge files back together by column name or by position. The delimiter (comma, tab, semicolon or pipe) is detected automatically for every input file.
All processing happens locally in your browser — your data is never uploaded to any server.

Split by:
Header:
Split: choose rows per part (each part gets ≤ N data rows) or a fixed number of parts, and decide whether every part repeats the header row. Merge: add any number of files (or pasted text) — each file keeps its own delimiter — then pick header-aware (columns matched by name, missing columns are reported and empty cells are used) or position alignment (columns matched by order, shorter files are padded). Output delimiter can be set to comma, tab (TSV), semicolon or pipe.
CSV output uses RFC-4180 quoting. Split parts can be downloaded individually or as a single ZIP archive.
Split & merge — headers are the contract

A split file stays usable only if every part repeats the header row — otherwise each part is just anonymous columns. Merging is the mirror problem: when files agree on column names, header-aware merge matches by name and reports what is missing; when they only share column order, position alignment pads shorter files. Pick by-name when parts come from the same template, by-position when they do not.

Each merged file keeps its own delimiter — mixed comma and tab inputs merge cleanly.
