User Agent Parser

Paste any User-Agent string — the one your browser already sends is pre-filled — and this page reports the browser family and version, layout engine, operating system, device vendor, model and category (desktop / mobile / tablet / console / TV / bot). Pick a sample below to try realistic strings, and expand “Raw JSON” to copy the structured object for your own server-side or client-side code. Parsing is performed locally by the MIT-licensed UAParser.js library.
Results update as you type.
Samples:
Raw JSON (UAParser result)

Reading the result: the UAParser.js library splits the string into userAgent (the input), browser, engine, os, device and cpu. The category badge is derived from the device type when the library reports one; strings that mention a crawler (Googlebot, bingbot, social previews…) are flagged BOT regardless of the parsed browser. Values the library cannot identify are shown as — that is normal: user agents are advisory strings, not guarantees, and many new or obscure clients are simply not in the detection database. For bots this is expected: libraries such as UAParser.js intentionally do not try to shoehorn crawlers into browser/OS/device fields, so the result block shows the crawler identity instead.

Privacy: parsing happens locally with the vendored MIT-licensed library — the string you paste is never sent anywhere. You can use this page as a local companion when debugging User-Agent handling in your own server code or analytics.
